🔹 Overview: Messenger Screen
On the Messenger page, you’ll see:
- ✅ A list of recent conversations (with phone numbers and message preview).
- ✅ A search bar to quickly locate conversations.
- ✅ Filters & sorting icons.
- ✅ A Start Conversation button for new messages.
🔹 How to Use Messenger
1. Accessing the Messenger
- From the left-hand menu, click on Messenger (💬 icon).
2. Viewing Conversations
- The left panel shows all message threads sorted by most recent.
- Each entry shows:
- Phone number
- Snippet of last message
- Date of last activity
Click any contact to open the full conversation thread in the right panel (not shown in screenshot).
3. Searching or Filtering
- Use the search bar at the top to find messages by phone number or keyword.
- Use the funnel/filter icon to sort by unread, recent, or tagged conversations (if tagging is enabled).
4. Starting a New Conversation
- Click Start Conversation button on the bottom right.
- Enter the recipient’s mobile number.
- Type your message and hit send.
✅ Great for sending one-on-one appointment reminders, answering customer queries, or initiating personalized outreach.
5. Replying to Messages
- When you click on an existing thread:
- You’ll see the full history on the right.
- Type your reply at the bottom and press send.
- Replies are sent immediately.
💡 Tips for Effective 2-Way Messaging
- Keep replies quick and clear—just like texting.
- Use customer names if available for a personal touch.
- Avoid delays in replying; customers expect fast responses.
- Always end with a CTA (e.g., “Would you like to confirm this time?”).
