The Texting Profile tab allows users to configure their default texting identity and preferences. These settings personalize and streamline outgoing text communications, including email-to-text integration and Outlook plug-in support.
🔹 Accessing the Texting Profile Tab
Go to the left navigation panel.
Click on “Manage Account”.
Select the “Texting Profile” tab at the top of the screen. Below screen appears:
🔹 Field Descriptions & Configuration
| Field | Description |

| Sender Name | Set a recognizable name for outgoing messages. Appears in the “From” field. Helps recipients identify the sender. |
| Sender ID | Choose a pre-approved SMS Sender ID (short code, long code, or toll-free number). This ID is used to send outbound messages. |
| Signature | Optional message footer. Applies for all One-on-one messages sent from Outlook, Email or Online Messenger. Signature is automatically appended to every message sent from this user (e.g., –John from ACME Inc.). Leave the field blank to avoid signature. |
| Add Contacts to a List | Assigns new contacts (e.g., created via Outlook Plugin) to a specific contact list automatically. |
| Enable Email-2-Text | Check this box to allow the user to send SMS messages by emailing a predefined address (e.g., Recipient number@text2email.net ). Useful for users working within email clients like Outlook or Gmail. |

🔹 Saving the Settings
Once all fields are configured:
Review the information.
Click the red “SAVE” button at the bottom of the page.
A confirmation will appear when the profile is updated successfully.
✅ Best Practices
Use a clear Sender Name for better recognition and trust.
Keep the signature concise to avoid exceeding SMS character limits.
Ensure the selected Sender ID is compliant with campaign type (promotional vs. transactional).
Enable Email-2-Text for teams who prefer working from email or CRM plugins.
