Welcome to the Texting Profile screen! Here, you can configure important settings for your messaging including activating Email to Text. Let’s go over each option step-by-step.
Go to Manage Account > Manage Users > Edit User or if you're updating your own profile then click on the Profile Icon on top right to access profile.
1. Sender Information
- Sender Name:
"Enter the name that will prefixed to the text message as the sender for your messages. e.g. Axis Mortgage: Your loan application has been approved. Please contact us for the next steps!"" - Sender ID:
"This is your texting number used for sending messages."
2. Signature Settings
- Signature:
"Add a custom signature that will appear in your messages. For example, you might use 'Footer' to include your company name or tagline. e.g Axis Mortgage: Your loan application has been approved. Please contact us for the next steps! Thanks"
3. Email-to-Text Features
- Enable Email-2-Text:
"Check this box to allow to send text message from email" - Email Subject Template:
"Once user reply to your message, it'll forwarded to your email inbox. Set the default subject line for replies Use placeholders like%MOBILE%to include recipient-specific information." - Email Body Template:
"Customize the body of the reply text-to-email messages. You can include placeholders like%MESSAGE%and%MOBILE%for dynamic content."
4. Advanced Email Settings
- Text Message Characters Limit (Email2Text):
"Set a maximum character limit for your email-to-text messages to ensure proper formatting." - Enable Email to MMS:
"Check this box to allow to attachment PDF, or Pictures to the text message when sending via email." - Include Subject (Email2Text):
"Enable this option to include the email subject in the text message body."
5. Email Parsing Options
- Remove Common Email Signature:
"Automatically strip out standard email signatures** to keep your messages concise.
** "Thanks," "Thank you," "Best Regards," "Warm Regards," "Kind Regards," "Sincerely," "Yours Truly," "Cheers," "Thanks and Regards," "With Gratitude," "Respectfully," "Faithfully," "Thanks," "Thank You," " - Remove Email Thread (Best Effort):
"Enable this option to remove previous email content when forwarding messages. To keep text messages clean, we will attempt to remove the email thread and only send the new email content to users. The most common email thread formats for Gmail and Outlook are supported." - Custom Footer Boundary:
"Define a custom footer boundary to help the system identify where the email body ends, system will strip all email content after the boundary."
6. Save Your Changes
- "Once you’ve configured all settings, click Save to apply your changes. These settings will ensure your messaging system works exactly how you want it to."
