- If you log into your dashboard using
https://app.wire2air.com, your account must be migrated to Omnihub before installing this Add-In.

Quick Start (5 Steps)
QuickInstall + Send Your First Text
- Download the manifest XML: Download Manifest (.xml)
- In Outlook, open any email → Apps (or …) → Get Add-ins.
- My Add-ins → Custom Add-ins → Add from File → select the downloaded XML → Install.
- Open any email → click TXTImpact / Wire2Air icon → Messenger opens on the right.
- Click New Message → enter number → type message → Send.
Want Outlook Contacts + save to Sent Items? Connect Outlook inside TXTImpact Dashboard (Integrations → Outlook → Connect).
Overview
The TXTImpact Outlook Add-In allows you to send and receive SMS directly from Microsoft 365 Outlook (Online and Desktop).
Before Installation
- The Add-In works with Microsoft 365 Outlook (Online and Desktop).
- You do NOT need a Microsoft-hosted email to use the Add-In.
- If you are NOT connected to Outlook from your TXTImpact dashboard:
- You will NOT be able to access Outlook Contacts.
- Sent messages will NOT be stored in your Outlook “Sent Items” folder.
Install TXTImpact Add-In (Individual User)
Note“Add from URL” may not be available
Many Microsoft 365 environments disable Add from URL. Use Add from File instead.
Step 1: Download the Manifest File
Download the TXTImpact Outlook Add-In manifest XML and save it locally (e.g., Downloads folder).

Step 2: Open Add-Ins in Outlook
- Open Outlook (Web or Desktop) and open any email message.
- Click the Apps icon (or the … menu).
- Select Get Add-ins.
Step 3: Install Using Add from File
- Select My Add-ins.
- Scroll to Custom Add-ins.
- Click Add from File.
- Select the downloaded
.xmlmanifest file. - Click Install and accept prompts.
Install the add-in using Custom Add-ins → Add from File
After installation, you may need to refresh Outlook or reopen an email for the icon to appear.
Install via Microsoft Admin Center (Organization Deployment – Recommended)
BestAdmin Deployment (No XML file for end users)
If you are an administrator, deploy the add-in organization-wide. This avoids end users downloading the manifest file.
Manifest URL: https://app.txtimpact.com/messenger/outlook/manifest
- Log into Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
- Go to Settings → Integrated Apps.
- Select Upload Custom Apps.
- Choose Office Add-in.
- Upload the manifest file or paste the manifest URL.
- Validate and deploy to users or the entire organization.
Note: Deployment may take up to 72 hours to appear for users.
Launch the TXTImpact Add-In
- Open any email in Outlook.
- Click the TXTImpact / Wire2Air icon.
- The Messenger panel will open on the right-hand side.
Send a Text Message
- Click New Message.
- Select your Sender Number.
- Enter contact name or phone number.
- Type your message.
- Click Send.
Connect Outlook for Contacts & Sent Folder Sync
OptionalEnable Outlook Contacts + Save to Sent Items
To access Outlook Contacts and automatically save sent SMS into Outlook “Sent Items,” connect Outlook inside your TXTImpact dashboard.
- Login to TXTImpact Dashboard.
- Go to Integrations.
- Click Outlook.
- Click Connect.
- Accept Microsoft permissions.

Troubleshooting
FixAdd-in Not Appearing
- Open an email first: In Outlook, add-ins often show only when an email is open (not just the inbox list).
- Refresh Outlook: Reload the browser tab (Outlook Web) or restart Outlook (Desktop).
- Wait a few minutes: Microsoft can take 5–15 minutes to surface the icon after install.
- Check the Apps menu: Click Apps or … and look for TXTImpact / Wire2Air.
- Confirm install: Go back to Get Add-ins → My Add-ins and verify it’s listed under installed add-ins.

Admin deployments: If deployed by Admin Center, it can take up to 72 hours to show for all users.
TipContacts Not Showing / Sent Items Not Saving
- Make sure Outlook is connected in TXTImpact Dashboard: Integrations → Outlook → Connect.
- After connecting, close and reopen the add-in panel in Outlook.
Account Still using app.wire2air.com?
If you still log into https://app.wire2air.com, migration to Omnihub is required before the add-in will work properly.
