Overview
Niagara sends alarms via email. TXTImpact converts those emails into SMS.
Alarm Trigger→Email Sent→TXTImpact→SMS Delivered
Use this format:
5558675309@text2email.net
TXTImpact Setup
1. Enable Email-to-Text
- Login to TXTImpact
- Go to Features → Email to Text
- Turn it ON
Messages sent to text2email.net are converted into SMS for any carrier.
2. Whitelist Sender
- Go to Settings → Email to Text
- Add your Niagara "From" email
If not whitelisted → SMS will NOT send.

Use App Passwords for Gmail / Office365.
Alarm Routing

Example:

- Keep message short (<160 chars)
- Enable "Send On Offnormal"
Tip: Use template → ALARM: {source} | {value}
Testing
- Trigger test alarm
- Check phone
- Verify in TXTImpact logs
