📋 What Is a Subscriber List?

A Subscriber List is a group of contacts (mobile numbers) that you can send messages to, trigger workflows, or use for automation campaigns. Think of it like an SMS mailing list – but smarter.

You can create multiple lists to organize your contacts by type, source, or campaign (e.g., "VIP Customers", "Event Attendees", "New Leads").

🧩 How to Add Contacts to a Subscriber List
 

1️⃣ Import Existing Contacts

• 📄 Upload CSV/Excel File: Add multiple contacts at once by uploading a spreadsheet.
• 🔗 Connect Integrations: Sync contacts from external platforms like:
  • Mailchimp
  • Constant Contact
  • Hubstaff
  • ...and others (see Integrations tab)

2️⃣ Collect New Subscribers Automatically

You can also grow your list through interactive, self-service opt-in options:

• 🧾 Web Sign-Up Forms:
  Shareable or embeddable forms that collect contact info and add subscribers directly to your list.
• 💬 Text-to-Join Keywords:
  Users can text a keyword (like JOIN or VIP) to your SMS number to opt-in and be added to a list automatically.
• 📊 Text Polling:
  Set up simple polls where users respond to a question via SMS and are captured in a list.
• 🧠 Trivia & Games:
  Run SMS-based trivia, quizzes, or games that collect and organize contacts.
• ⚙️ Custom Workflows:
  Build automated SMS flows that ask for info, update fields, and add users to lists based on responses.

📌 Getting Started

1. Go to your messaging screen.
2. Scroll to the bottom and click “+ New List”.
3. Give your list a name (e.g., “July Campaign”).
4. Add contacts via any of the methods above.
