Number Mapping
Number mapping allows you to associate your primary number with country-specific sender IDs, ensuring your messages are sent using appropriate sender IDs for each country. This guide explains how to purchase a dedicated number and set up number mapping effectively.
What is Number Mapping?
Number mapping is the process of linking your primary number to a country-specific sender ID. This is useful for:
- Ensuring messages comply with country-specific messaging regulations.
- Enhancing brand recognition with dedicated numbers.
- Improving message deliverability.

4. Save the Mapping
After selecting the primary number, country, and dedicated number:

Once saved, all messages sent from your primary number to the specified country will use the mapped dedicated number.
Why Use Dedicated Numbers?
- Enhanced Brand Recognition: Messages appear consistent and recognizable to your customers.
- Compliance: Dedicated numbers help align with regional regulations.
- Message Deliverability: Local sender IDs improve message reception in many countries.
Example Mapping Scenarios
- United Kingdom: Primary Number: +1 123-456-7890 → Dedicated Number: +44 9876-543-210
- Australia: Primary Number: +1 123-456-7890 → Dedicated Number: +61 9876-543-210
In these examples, messages sent to these countries will use the dedicated numbers instead of the primary number.
