π Number Mapping User Guide
The Number Mapping feature allows you to associate country-specific sender IDs (either local numbers or alphanumeric sender IDs) with your primary text number. This ensures your international messages are sent using a local, compliant sender ID while still centralizing replies and workflows through your U.S.-based number.
π What is Number Mapping?
When a message is sent from your primary U.S. text number (e.g., +1-212-xxx-xxxx) to a recipient in another country, the system checks if there is a mapped local sender ID for that destination. If a mapping exists, the message is automatically sent using that localized sender ID, improving:
- Deliverability
- Regional compliance
- Brand familiarity
All replies are routed back to your primary number, so your inbox, workflows, and campaigns work seamlessly β no matter where the recipient is located.
