Understanding 10DLC Campaign Attributes

When registering a 10DLC (10-Digit Long Code) campaign, you're required to declare certain attributes. These help carriers understand how your messages are structured and ensure compliance with carrier guidelines.

🔘 Number Pooling

What it means: You're using multiple phone numbers for a single campaign to distribute high message volumes.
Use case: Mass alerts, customer service systems.
Select: No if you're using a single number (default for most businesses).

🔘 Direct Lending or Loan Arrangement

What it means: Your campaign promotes or facilitates loans, financing, or credit-related services.
Select: No unless your campaign explicitly deals with lending.

🔘 Embedded Link

What it means: Your text messages contain clickable links to your site, forms, or promotions. 
Example: “Click here to view today’s deal: www.example.com”
Select: Yes if links are included in your SMS content.

🔘 Embedded Phone Number

What it means: Your message body includes a phone number the user can call or text. Except for HELP confirmation message.
Example: “Call us at (800) 123-4567”
Select: Yes if a phone number is included in the message body.

🔘 Age-Gated Content

What it means: Your messages involve products or services intended for 18+ or 21+ audiences (e.g., alcohol, tobacco, adult content).
Select: Yes only if your campaign contains restricted content. Otherwise, select No.
