Before You Start – Required Information
To avoid delays or rejections, make sure you have the following information and assets ready before starting the RCS Agent registration.
Brand & Business Details
- Official brand name (must match website and business identity)
- Sender name (public-facing name shown to customers)
- Short business description (recommended ≤ 100 characters)
- Primary business website URL (HTTPS required)
- Business contact email address

Step 1: Create a New RCS Agent
- Go to Text Numbers → RCS Agents
- Click + Add Agent
Step 2: Basic Information
Complete the required fields:
- Sender Name: Name shown to end users (must align with your brand).
- Brand: Select the correct RCS Brand.
- Hosting Region: Example: North America.
- Billing Category: Example: Non-Conversational.
- Use Case: Example: Promotional.
Click Next to continue.
Step 3: Public Profile
This section defines how your RCS Agent appears to customers.
Key field requirements
- Display Name: Public-facing name (max 100 characters).
- Description: Short business description.
- Phone Number: Must be E.164 format.
- Banner Image: JPG/JPEG/PNG, 1440 × 448 px, max 200 KB.
- Logo Image: JPG/JPEG/PNG, 224 × 224 px, max 50 KB.
- Website URL: Valid HTTPS URL.
- Email Address: Valid business email.
- Privacy Policy URL and Terms of Service URL: Public, accessible URLs.
Use this format exactly:

Step 4: Agent Experience
This section explains how users interact with your agent and how consent is managed.
Message Triggers
Select at least one trigger and arrange in order of frequency:
- Business-triggered (marketing/promotions)
- External events (delivery/reservations)
- Scheduled messages (specific date/time)
- User actions (after purchase/signup)
Consent Management
Opt-in (how users agree to receive messages):
- By subscribing to a loyalty program
- By making a purchase in-store or online
- By subscribing to a newsletter
Opt-out (confirmation message when user opts out):
- Thank you for opting out
- Thank you for unsubscribing
- We have registered your opt out request
Click Create Agent to save.
Step 5: Submit for Review
- Return to the RCS Agents list
- Find your agent with status Draft
- Click Submit for Review
- Confirm in the popup dialog
Step 6: Status – Ready for Testing
Once the agent is approved for testing, status becomes Ready for Testing.
Click the agent (or the Ready for Testing status) to open RCS Agent Details.
Step 7: Add Test Devices
- Open RCS Agent Details
- Click the Test Devices tab
- Click Add Test Device
