How to Set Up a Text-2-Win Campaign

The Text-2-Win feature lets you create SMS-based sweepstakes or instant-win campaigns to engage your audience and grow your subscriber list.

  1. Go to WorkFlows & Rules from the left menu.
  2. Select Create Text-2-Win.

1. Text Number

Select the phone number from which your campaign will be sent.

2. Select SMS Account

Choose the user account to associate with this campaign.

3. Keyword

Enter one or more keywords participants will text to enter the contest. Separate multiple keywords using commas.

4. All Messages Checkbox

If enabled, this applies the campaign to all incoming messages, not just the keyword(s).

5. Start/End Date and Time

Set the duration your campaign will be active. Messages received outside this window will get the Contest Ended Message.

6. Instant Win Checkbox

If selected, winners are notified instantly after entry based on odds set.

7. Multiple Entries Checkbox

Allow participants to enter more than once (based on the re-entry duration).

8. Win Odds (1 in X)

Set the probability of winning. For example, 1 in 10 means 1 winner for every 10 entries.

9. Max Number of Winners

Set a cap on total winners. Leave 0 for unlimited winners.

10. Age Gate

How to activate Age or location gate for your Text to win (sweepstakes) campaigns?

You can now activate Age restrictions or location restrictions for your text message sweepstakes. By adding Age and location gate, the entrant will be required to reply with their age and state or city (location).

11. Re-Entry Duration

Set the wait time (in hours) required before a participant can enter again. Use 0 to allow immediate re-entry.

✉️ Auto-Response Messages

• Entry Response

This is sent to all users upon entering the contest.

• Winner Response

This is shown to users who win instantly or after campaign selection.

• Loser Response

Displayed to participants who don’t win.

• Already Entered Message

Sent to users trying to re-enter before the wait time expires (if multiple entries are restricted).

• Contest Ended Message

Shown to users who attempt to enter before the start date or after the end date.

đź’ľ Saving & Activating

After configuring all settings and messages, click SAVE. Your Text-2-Win campaign will now be live during the specified date/time window.

đź“Ś Notes

  • Keep messages within 160 characters for single-segment SMS delivery.
  • Always include “STOP to opt out” in your entry or follow-up messages to ensure compliance.
  • Use age gating for alcohol, tobacco, or regulated giveaways.
  • You can  contact support to activate age and location gate for your text 2 win contest incase you have doubt.
