🎯 How to Create a Text-2-Trivia Campaign
The Text-2-Trivia module allows businesses to engage users by sending trivia questions via SMS. Participants reply with their answers using a keyword, and the system evaluates and responds accordingly.
📌 Where to Find It
- Log into the platform.
- From the left menu, click WorkFlows & Rules.
- Select Create New Trivia.
🛠 Step-by-Step Configuration

1. Text Number
Select the SMS-enabled phone number to be used for this trivia campaign.
2. Select SMS Account
Choose the SMS account to associate with this trivia campaign.
3. Campaign Name
Provide a unique name for your campaign (used internally).
4. Text Join Keyword
This is the keyword users will text to the short/long code to join the trivia (e.g., TRIVIAFUN).
5. Trivia Question
Enter your trivia question. This will be sent to users when they text the keyword.
✅ Response Options
Once you save the campaign, you'll be able to add multiple response options with associated values:
- Option: The actual text the user replies with.
- Option Title: (Optional) A label for your internal tracking or reporting.
- Correct Answer: Check this box to mark which option is the correct answer.
📅 Start/End Schedule
Set a time window for the trivia campaign:
- Start Date & Time: When users can begin participating.
- End Date & Time: When the campaign automatically stops accepting responses.
⏳ Maximum Votes Allowed: Limit how many responses a single user can submit. Enter 0 for unlimited entries.
💬 Auto-Responses
You can customize SMS replies for each outcome:
- Correct Answer Response: Message sent when a user replies with the correct option.
- Incorrect Answer Response: Message sent when a user replies with an incorrect answer.
- Trivia Ended Message: Message sent if the campaign has already ended.
- Trivia Not Started Message: Message sent if a user tries to respond before the start time.
💾 Save & Go Live
Once everything is filled in, click SAVE. After saving, use the interface to:
- Add answer options
- Track responses and performance in the Report section
📈 Reporting & Analytics
Go to the Report tab to:
- View how many users participated
- See correct vs. incorrect response distribution
- Download responses for analysis
