🔐 What is a Text-to-Register Workflow?
The Text-to-Register workflow allows your business or organization to control who can join an SMS campaign or subscriber list by requiring a unique registration code during the opt-in process. This ensures that only authorized participants—those who have been issued a valid code—can successfully register.
Participants simply text a designated Keyword followed by their unique registration code (e.g., JOIN ABC123) to your campaign’s text number. These codes can be generated within the Unique Codes module or imported from an external source. You can then distribute these codes via tickets, emails, printouts, or other controlled channels.

- School Fundraisers or SMS Polling: Sell tickets that include registration codes and allow only ticket holders to vote for a favorite performance or act.

How to Set Up a Text-2-Register Campaign
The Text-2-Register feature allows you to collect subscriber registrations via SMS. Participants can register using a keyword + registration code, receive a confirmation, and get redirected to another workflow upon completion.
📍 Navigation
- Go to the left-hand menu and click WorkFlows & Rules.
- Click Create Text-2-Register Campaign.
📝 Setup Instructions
1. Text Number
This is the number participants will text to register. It is auto-populated if you have a dedicated number.
2. Select SMS Account
Choose the SMS account under which the campaign will be managed.
3. Campaign Name *
Enter a unique name to identify this Text-2-Register campaign.
4. Keyword *
Define the keyword users will text to the selected number to initiate registration. You may add more than one keyword if needed.
5. All Messages Checkbox
If checked, the system will respond to all incoming messages (not just the defined keywords).
✉️ Auto-Reply Messages
• Register Request
This message is sent when the system receives the initial keyword from the user and prompts them to enter their registration code or details.
• Invalid Registration Code
This message is triggered if the user provides an incorrect or expired registration code.
• Registration Confirmation
Sent when the user completes the registration successfully. You can use this to thank them, send further instructions, or confirm enrollment.
• Already Registered
This message is shown to users who attempt to register again using the same credentials or code.
• Redirect Campaign
You can optionally redirect the user to another active SMS campaign. Select the campaign to redirect from the dropdown below this section.
💾 Save and Launch
Once all fields are filled and messages configured, click Save. Your Text-2-Register campaign will now be live and begin accepting entries via keyword.
